Oh Dear, We're in a Shizload of Trouble

So this is the newest update on our film, "Life Unexpected"...I swear that name sounds like a sitcom from the 90's, maybe it was? I don't know I'll look it up later though but anyways I haven't written in forever....So update, we finished our script, finally! Bad news it was like three weeks late but luckily the three people in our group finally finished it so my 36% went all the way to a 93%...Yay!

Basically our script is about a girl named Penelope, she has a terminal illness...Yes I know this sounds super familiar like some soap opera that you've seen...Oh wait! It sounds like that one film with Queen Latifah! I think it's called "Last Holiday" but that's totally different from ours. But anyways so Penelope doesn't see a point in life anymore and goes to the park and meets a guy (totally platonic of course!) and he basically helps her to not act like an emotionless robot. Before meeting him she was kind of like that one guy in that Albert Camus book, what was it ummm, oh his name was Meursault! But yeah Meursault was totally indifferent to everything he pretty much had no emotion except when it came to like sex, or going to work but, the dudes mother died and he only cared about how hot it was and if the coffee was good. The point of that little tidbit of information was Penelope had no emotions and now thanks to the bubbly personality of this new character she does! So then she goes to the beach and lays down on the sand and dies.

Yes I know this sounds sort of random but keep in mind the film is only 5-6 minutes long and we're totally gonna shoot it way more dramatic then that. We'll do a closeup on her face and then the closes her eyes and a sheet is pulled over her face and in the beginning of the film she will start with a sheet over her head and then throw it off, so yeah cool technique! We're trying to make the whole sheet thing like one of those crime shows. The whole point of this scene is her acceptance of death. This is us trying to be all metaphorical and deep and I feel like were sort of achieving that. Our film is so depressing because it's way easier to portray sadness then something amazingly comedic, like "Mean Girls" and I'm all about easy!

So this film seems like it's starting to form itself...wait until we actually film it, that's gonna be Amazeballz:D
